Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of the PodInk website, browser extension, workspace, and related services. It covers prompts, instructions, reactions, uploads, source material, transcripts, AI-assisted drafts, platform outputs, and account activity.

This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information when operating and protecting the Service.

1. Illegal activity and harm

You may not use the Service to create, facilitate, or promote:

• fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, deceptive financial schemes, or evasion of law-enforcement or platform safeguards;
• malware, credential theft, network attacks, unauthorized access, or instructions intended to compromise a person, device, account, or service;
• credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, hateful abuse, violent wrongdoing, or exploitation of vulnerable people; or
• any other activity that violates applicable law or another party's legal rights.

2. Child safety and sexual content

You may not use the Service to:

• sexualize, exploit, groom, endanger, or depict the sexual abuse of a minor, whether the material is real, fictional, altered, or AI-generated;
• create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, or sexually abusive material;
• generate or distribute pornographic or explicit sexual content, including synthetic image, audio, or video content; or
• use age ambiguity, fictional framing, or technical transformation to evade these restrictions.

We may report apparent child sexual abuse material or imminent threats to the appropriate authorities or safety organizations where required or permitted by law.

3. Impersonation, deepfakes, and deceptive media

You may not use the Service to:

• impersonate another person or falsely present content as approved, spoken, or published by them;
• create or distribute deceptive deepfakes, cloned voices, fabricated quotations, or manipulated evidence intended to mislead people;
• use a person's name, image, voice, likeness, or private information without the rights, permission, notice, or lawful basis required for that use; or
• omit a clear disclosure when synthetic or materially altered media could reasonably be mistaken for an authentic record.

4. Intellectual property and source material

You may not:

• infringe or misappropriate copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other proprietary rights;
• process private, paywalled, restricted, or access-controlled material without authorization;
• remove attribution, fabricate a source, or present an AI-assisted interpretation as a verbatim statement from the source; or
• use Service output to train or develop a competing model or service in violation of our Terms or applicable law.

Public availability of a podcast, video, caption, or transcript does not by itself grant every right needed to reproduce or republish it.

5. Sensitive and high-impact content

You may not use the Service to:

• fabricate evidence or knowingly spread materially false political, election, public-health, medical, financial, or legal claims;
• suppress lawful voting participation or misrepresent when, where, or how a person may vote;
• present AI-assisted output as individualized professional medical, legal, or financial advice without appropriate qualified review; or
• make high-impact decisions about another person's employment, housing, credit, education, insurance, healthcare, or legal access solely from Service output.

Good-faith reporting, education, criticism, and personal commentary are permitted when they are lawful, accurately framed, and appropriately reviewed before publication.

6. Spam, manipulation, and service abuse

You may not:

• generate spam, deceptive engagement, coordinated inauthentic activity, or content intended to manipulate platform metrics;
• violate the rules of YouTube, Google, X, LinkedIn, or another service you connect or direct us to use;
• scrape, probe, overload, reverse engineer, bypass, or interfere with the Service or its security and usage controls; or
• evade a suspension, quota, content restriction, or other protective measure through automation, multiple accounts, or misleading account information.

7. Review and enforcement

Prompts, uploads, account signals, and outputs may be checked by automated safeguards and, where appropriate, human reviewers. We do not promise to pre-review every input or output, and you remain responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.

When we reasonably believe this Policy has been violated, we may:

• refuse or interrupt a generation or processing request;
• restrict access to content, features, integrations, or exports;
• remove application-hosted content where appropriate;
• suspend or terminate an account or the Service relationship;
• preserve relevant records where legally required; or
• report conduct to a platform, rights holder, safety organization, or authority where required or permitted by law.

Removing content or an account from PodInk does not remove a post you already published to an external platform. You must manage that post through the external platform.

8. Reporting and appeals

To report suspected misuse, request review of an enforcement decision, or raise a rights concern, email podink1@outlook.com. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant account, content, or decision without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
